I need a simple logo for a project of mine, RarePolicy.us.

Audience is general public, those with rare disease (or a loved one with rare disease), and potential donors to support the platform (pharmaceutical, biotechnology and advocacy groups).

The advocacy is currently all US focused at both the federal and state level ... and is for the 1 in 10 people worldwide with a rare disease. The site right now facilitates an easy way to contact and message the user's elected representatives. It will expand to include petitions and other advocacy activities.

It will also likely expand to include other more generic health issues (not just rare disease - because health policy affects those with rare diseases too).

The web site as a definite US feel ... I'd like the logo to reflect that. If or when we start to support international policy we will develop another logo for that.

Some thoughts:
* the logo can focus on "Rare Policy" but should include the domain name (with .us) as a tag line if just the two words are featured. We do not own control RarePolicy.com
* Simple use of the text with a simple splash of color or logo (not a plain flat flag).
* We do not currently have a tag line.

I'm going to try to attach a few logos that caught my eye when Googling "federal advocacy Logos" after this project is live.

I will keep this contest open until this evening (west coast USA) to allow for some more submissions early in the day Wednesday from other time zones. I have rated all entries so far and really like several of them.

I am playing with a tag line of "Serving 1 in 10 with RARE disease" ... so far no one has come up with a good visual for 1 in 10 as part of the logo.

I may put up a different contest to do 1 in 10 as a stand alone sometime in the future.

My top choices so far are pretty varied. Thanks for your creativity. An interesting fact about rare disease ... it affects 1 in 10 people worldwide. That is probably better for a tag line than as part of the logo ... but you'all are the creative ones!
