Opis Konkursu

Participants are asked to design a modern/minimalist/semi-industrial/“boxy” residence for the attached property. The property is flat and located in a tropical climate. The residence will be fully air conditioned. The colour scheme is expected to be dark grey/black/natural tones.

Residence Requirements:
- 2-story structure, open concept
- enclosed and attached 4-car garage
- downstairs library/study
- downstairs master bedroom with walk in closet
- 4 upstairs bedrooms, all en-suite (one should be a master bedroom with walk in closet)
- mezzanine common area
- great room with double volume ceiling; 10’ ceilings in other rooms
- grand modern staircase
- well lit foyer
- downstairs mud room/laundry room
- approx 3000 sf backyard space for pool and kids recreation (basketball/football)

Contest Rules:
- entries should consist of a floor plan and external appearance (images/sketches)
- submissions must be in jpeg or pdf formats
- all views and dimensions must be presented to be eligible for the prize
- the winning design becomes the property of the contest holder (myself) although credit will be given to the designer

    You need 325 m2 for residence in two floor.amount 160 m2 in per floor and 280 m2 for backyard.total 440 m2 will use.what happen whit remaining space?

      so the square footage I indicated earlier is on the lower end. we actually expect it to have a bit larger footprint. but excess will all be yard/outdoor space. The eastern wall borders a neighbor, the northern wall is another neighbor, the southern and western walls border fields.
