Opis Konkursu

The business is called Kiwi Fast Build.
(Please dont copy each others artwork. If I decide to choose that Logo I will go back to the original artist if you have taken others work.)
To help give you direction I an going to give everything a rating. I may also leave a comment on how to improve. Eg, font and color great but artwork is clip art. Or, I love the artwork but the colours need to change to etc)
1 & 2 star. I don't really like and I may also leave a comment as to why (But there are many entries and I cant comment on all.)
3 star. I like lots about it but maybe the artwork needs improving or the font or layout doesnt work for me.
4 star. Great effort and currently in contention. May need some changes and will say if I can pinpoint it.
5 star. Excellent logo overall. Only tiny tweaks may be needed and I will private message you.

Here is some background.
This as a brand new business and haven't even got a website yet so cant refer you to that for information (A new website will be the next project)

We sell inexpensive kitset homes (1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom). Plus portable 'Expandable' pop-out houses that unfold out of a box the size of a shipping container.

We are trying to solve a problem in our New Zealand (NZ) housing market where there is a shortage of housing and house prices here are expensive and take a long time to build.

As New Zealander we often refer to ourselves as "Kiwi's", which is why we are using it in our company name. And just so you understand, the Kiwi is a flightless native bird that is specific to New Zealand. (Not Kiwi fruit)

You will see our existing logo has a 'Fern' in it. The fern is also a national symbol in NZ (The 'silver fern' is only found in NZ)

Some other things to consider...

We need to include these words in the tag line. 'Tough. Affordable. Green'

We need our new logo to portray that we are stable and solid and here to stay.

We want the logo to be stylish and 'designed', not cheap as if put together by my 12 year old.

So please do NOT use clip art... and try to avoid the common house clip art that every second building company has.

For example, if the font you use was not standard and was modified to look cooler or more stylish then that might be good. Or if you create an icon/pic of some sort rather than copying one off the internet. An example of a modified font and a nice clean logo is is what I got in a previous competition here, for another business called Assetwise. I have attached the Assetwise logo. But just to be clear...Please don't make any Assetwise logos. It was just used as an example and I'm only after a logo for Kiwi Fast Build.

We do like the Kiwi and/or the fern, but it isn't compulsory to have them in the logo. Though I prefer them to flowers or house and roof clip art.

Some "dont's".
Don't use cartoon style pictures or clip art of Kiwis or houses or roofs. And dont download little icons off the net.

Don't use one of the cliched 'house' icons pics that you can download on the net.

Do get creative.

We are not set on colours, so use whatever you feel works well. However we need to ensure it will still work as logo if it has to be shown in black and white.

I will give constructive feedback.

Please dont use the clip art. It looks rubbish.

PS. Just a reminder. The Assetwise logo in the picture below was just an example of a modified font and a nice, but subtle integration of the icon into the logo text. It is the Kiwi Fast Build logo you are designing.

    Many of you are just stealing each other's designs. Often you barely modify it at all and then try and post it as your own. I won't choose a copied logo design as a winner. So use your own imaginations and talent please.

      but you pick a copy design ch.. thats your fault if someone file a case agains you for having a copyright logo.. real artist sending original design but you reject it.. now its your fault if someone file a case agains copyright logo..

    Check comments with the ratings. Sometimes I give stars as I like the font and style of the text and sometimes I like the logo icon/artwork you create. So check the comments I leave.
