I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for the first time and I am really enjoying it. To say thank you to my friends for letting me join in with their sessions, I wanted to give them a picture of our characters in the tavern that we frequent in the game before we get on with our quests. As we have to imagine all of this in our heads, I thought it would be nice to have a reference to go on to immerse ourselves more in the experience. So without further ado this is what I would like please? An image of our 4 adventurers in the tavern that we stay at in the game before going off and doing our quests. Now then, a bit about what this should all look like.
The Tavern: The tavern that we all frequent at should look a bit like the ones that are in the video game "The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt" (I have uploaded an image of one for reference). However, there are a couple of major differences. One of the differences is that the tables that the adventurers sit around are big circle ones and not long rectangle ones. The other difference is that unlike this image, the tavern that we frequent is never busy and usually only has one or two other people inside.
The adventurers. All 4 of us have a character that we have made up and their names are Bragi, Pete, Carressa and Sol'Hal. They should all be around a table in the middle of the tavern going about their usual routine before heading out on a quest. Now to explain what they all look like.
Bragi: This is my character who is a Dwarf Paladin. He kind of looks like the image that I have given as inspiration but has a few differences. First of all, he isn't as old as the Dwarf in the image, as he is only about 30 in Human years. He has golden brown hair and green eyes but his armour and weapons are the same as in the image. On the front of his shield is a picture of a glockenspiel (which I have uploaded a picture of one for reference) as he worships the instrument as his religion (weird I know). He would probably be drinking a pint of beer or three with Pete
Pete: This character is a Human Ranger. He kind of looks like if Santa Claus was a pirate but not as old and not as long of a beard. He is around 45 to 50 years old and has been adventuring for a long time before this campaign started. His weapons of choice are a longbow and a rapier which he always has on his person or very close by in case of an enemy attack.
Carressa: This character is a Human Cleric. She kind of looks exactly like Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame but in white and gold armour. She is around 25 years old. She has a battleaxe as her weapon of choice. She also has one eye that is green and the other which is glistening in gold because she couldn't see out of it and now she can because of a mysterious power which is currently unknown to her. She always has a small backpack on her person filled with books and in the tavern she would be reading one of these said books while drinking a cup or two of very strong coffee.
Sol'Hal: This character is a Elven Warlock. He looks like a scaled back version of the picture I have given you as a reference but just with brown hair and his robes would be more colourful with red and white complimenting the black. He always has a black book on his person and this is where his powers come from. Unfortunately, because of these powers he has an imp that follows him around everywhere which looks like the image I given you. Sol'Hal is the only one that can see this creature and in the Tavern he would be talking to the creature to try and find out information about the creature's master while everyone else cannot see who he is talking to. The creature would be coming out of this black book that he would be holding which would have some language on it that no one would be able to understand.
I think that should be enough information about everyone and everything for a good starting point on the final image. If you need any questions asked, please do not hesitate to ask.
