illustrator for children's book project

Opis Konkursu

I have a series of children's books , so far 5 in total that I am looking to self - publish as a gift but need an illustrator to bring the tales to life. Each story is based on Halloween costumes for kids in wheelchairs. Each story is about 1000 words long and i need probably 5-10 illustrations each. I would like to start with one story and see how it goes. Im pretty open to suggestions for the illustrations and flexible on the artwork since i cant draw to save my own life.

Just before bedtime, there was a knock on the door and his Dad went to open the door. The Fire Chief and three firefighters he helped were at the front door. Firefighter Jay was holding a small Dalmatian puppy with a red collar and a big pink bow. The firefighters brought John David a present for helping them at the fires with his magical firetruck. The Dalmatians at the firehouse had a litter of puppies. The puppy’s name was Lady and she was a gift to John David for helping the firefighters. He laughed as the puppy crawled up on his lap in his wheel chair and licked his face. John David’s mom was confused by the gift but his Dad told her to let him keep the puppy. They could teach the pup to be a service dog for John David. John David was happy and hugged his puppy as best as he could. She would be too big to sit on his lap soon but she would be a good friend and helper to him with a little training.
