Opis Konkursu

Located in the 5-star Sofitel in downtown Bangkok, the new outlet ‘Maison Mizuki’ is a modern, Japanese whiskey and sushi bar. The restaurant aspires to be a hip bar for whiskey connoisseurs and sushi lovers, elevating Bangkok’s current bar scene.

Story behind Maison Mizuki: Mizuki is a wealthy, well-travelled Japanese woman whose uncle was an importer of whiskeys back in the day. He travelled extensively to Europe for work and on occasions would take young Mizuki with him. He would share interesting trivia about distilleries and how to spot a great whiskey.
This leaves a strong imprint on her mind and when she grew older, decided to take on her uncle’s business. She travelled the world, met interesting people and regaled them with anecdotes and trivia about whiskey.
This restaurant pays homage to her.
