We are a small family farm looking for a logo to represent us to use on our website, promotional material, business cards, clothing etc. The name of our farm is ‘Cold Smoke Farms’ but the kicker is we live in South Carolina. Cold Smoke: cloud of powder snow that follows when you're carving (skis or snowboards) down a deep, fresh run in the mountains. To us, it’s a nod to our love of winter and the perfect day which we pray we have on the farm. While our farm name is winter themed, we do not live where there are snowy winters.
For business, our main focus will be cut flowers, farm raised meats, eggs, and handmade soaps. We have horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and cows. The flower side will be separate from other farm activities in some aspects. As I am planning on selling some flowers in wholesale and to florist. We are in the very beginning stages of growing our farm but what to be ready for when it comes time to sell our products.
We do have an Instagram @coldsmokefarms and Facebook (Cold Smoke Farms) that we are active on showing our day to day in the stories and posts. Please check us out if you want to see a little more detail of who we are and what we do.
I have uploaded a picture of font style I particularly like and think I would like something similar for our logo but I am open to others. Color scheme has not been decided as of now. Black and white is timeless and classic but maybe overdone in the use of logos. We typically buy supplies in Navy blue, so maybe navy and white or navy and gold.
