I need an app icon, banner, large banner, key benefits image, & slogan for a Shopify app.

Use this example as a general idea of what needs designing (the icon, banner, larger banner, slogan). Note: You DON'T have to base your design or colour scheme around this design. Also key benefits image is not shown in this example.


Our App is called Insta Ratings. It is designed to give random star ratings, a percentage, and order numbers for products on a Shopify store.

It's up to you to use your imagination on how you would design for this type of app.

The slogan needs to represent social proof via ratings. Or however you think would best describe the app.

Font should be cursive, similar to Instagram, but whatever looks best (and font should be copyright free).

Also create your design with the following 3 titles, to see which looks best:

Key Benefits Sections can be created last, where we can discuss which benefits/text we want displayed. An example of this image might end up something like this:

But like I said, we can do this last after discussion.

App Icon Requirements:

Don't use text in your images.
Keep the corners square. We round the corners for you when we display the icon.
Avoid using a white background. Use bold colors and patterns that are recognizable.
Make it simple. Focus on one or two elements. Visual clutter can make an icon less effective.
Be consistent. The icon and banners for your app should look like they belong to the same brand and product.

The icon’s dimensions should be 512px by 512px & 1200px by 1200px.

Banner Requirements:

Keep the corners square. We round the corners for you when we display the banner.
Avoid using a white background. Use bold colors and patterns that are recognizable.
Make it simple. Focus on one or two elements. Visual clutter can make a banner less effective.
Be consistent. The icon and banners for your app should look like they belong to the same brand and product.
The app card banner's dimensions should be 310px by 100px.

Large Banner:

Same or similar to the banner, but is 680 x 300

Key Benefits Section:

The key benefit image dimensions should be 1600px by 1200px (4:3).
Do not use text in your images.
Keep the corners square. We round the corners for you when we display the images.
Avoid using a white background. Instead, use bold, recognizable colors or patterns.
Make it simple. Focus on one or two elements. Visual clutter can make an image less effective.
Be consistent. The icon and key benefits images for your app should look like they belong to the same brand and product.


I've attached the enhanced listings template files which have been downloaded from the Shopify website. You will see in there the template for enhanced App Icon 1200 x 1200, and the Key Benefits template 1600 x 1200.
