ASP Classic API Programming for ChannelAdvisor GetInventoryItemList

Hi, I have 5+ years of experience. Developed various projects in .Net with MsSql database. Infact, 90% of the projects done so far are in ASP, which includes simple dynamic page to complex ecommerce related websites. The webservice require accountId and skuList. Will the skuList be be fetched from the db? Please explain at what event, this will webservice need to be called.? Look forward to hear from you. Regards
