My name is Chris Cooke and I co-own a company out of Lethbridge, Alberta Canada called Feature Productions Inc. We need to figure out the best structure for our Canadian company to work in the States. Visas, US corporate law, tax implications, etc. are all considerations that we'll need to look at. We're looking for a lawyer who has our best interest in mind and can work with us to make this project as economical as possible while being fairly compensated upon successful completion of the project. I can appreciate that this may be slightly complicated, but I want to do what it takes to do it in the right way as economically as possible. Prefer a someone from within USA or Canada We have some existing opportunities in the States... one as early as August that we'd like to do in Alaska, but it probably isn't realistic to get things done that quick. We own a bunch of video production equipment for live events and we'd like to be able to cross the border with our gear as well. I'm guessing we'll need a carnet, but might need a little direction on that side of things too. We can hire contractors locally in the States, but I would like to personally go there as a Canadian for most of our jobs Thanks in advance!
