Hello, thanks for inviting me to bid on your project. I have a good background working with OpenCV and Android, iOS and desktop. A few observations about OpenCV on Android: 1. OpenCV for Android presents a Java interface over the underlying C++ code (OpenCV is implemented in C and C++). Not all OpenCV functions are available in the Java interface (I learned this the hard way). From this point of view the best approach is to use C++ for the part of the code that interacts with OpenCV and Java for the application GUI. Let me know what you think. 2. OpenCV is continuously evolving, usually the best version is better in the sense that it is more complete and has less bugs. I suggest to latest version of OpenCV for Android (2.4.8 at this time). I've noticed that you prefer to do your payments through PayPal, you can use PayPal to put your money in Freelancer account, but you can't pay me directly through PayPal (all financial transactions outside Freelancer's website are not allowed by Freelancer, possible penalty - account banning). So do not seems to be any tricky point. But you have specified brightness as percentages, (like 80%) which means if gray values are ranging from0 to 255, then it means approximately 205. is that right? Hallo, ich bin ein Freelancer mit Sitz in Köln und 4+ Jahren Erfahrung in Android & Web development. In der Vergangenheit habe ich schon häufiger mit OpenCV gearbeitet (Bildanalyse bei Medizinischen Studien) u.a. auch auf Android (POC - mobiler Museumsguide mit Bildererkennung). Vorneweg möchte ich anmerken, dass die Kamera-Funktionalität von OpenCV auf Android sehr Gerät-abhängig ist - hier gibt es leider noch viele Bugs. (Es gibt z.B. 2 verschiedene "CameraView"s - eine verwendet die Android Java Camera API, die andere via nativem Interface. Sie funktionieren unterschiedlich gut abhängig vom Gerät. Es ließe sich aber natürlich ein Switch im Startbildschirm einbauen.) Die Realisierung ist relativ straightforward und ich würde stark empfehlen für bessere Geschwindigkeit eine native (C/C++) Library zu verwenden. Im Grundlegenen braucht es nur die OpenCV-Methoden cv::threshold, cv::findContours/cv::drawContours und cv::contourArea. Ich rechne mit einem Zeitaufwand von 30h ausgehend der Spezifikation, mit Fertigstellung innerhalb einer Woche. Gerne können wir das Projekt auch unabhängig von dieser Platform abwickeln.
