I'll do the whole animation in After Effects, animating the wing of the hummingbird with 3D layer and the body using the Puppet Tool. The text may appear animating the fade , position and scale . The bg may appear at the time to end the animation of the hummingbird .

This could be done in flash or AE. The bird flying around and making all the main letters popup by touching em by its beak. There is a flash logo video in my portfolio as example. Thanks, Ivailo
