NWMLS provides web services for querying and retrieving property information.

* The Query service provides access to the various data sets.

<!-- -->

* The Discovery web service provides information to the user about what they have access to.

The attached documentation on the web services, including various XSD files, will shed light on connecting to and querying the service.

A username and password is required in the XML query to retrieve information.

The client requires an ASP.NET application developed that connects to the NWMLS web service and imports all property information relating to their office into SQL Server, so the data can be used locally on their website. We do not want to have a live connection to the NWMLS web service, but a nightly import of all data for their office, so there is no dependency or slowdown in performance.

The import process will be run nightly by visiting a URL, so the importer must run as an ASP.NET page.

All property information (Approximately 70 different pieces of information per listing), including URLs to property photos (there will be multiple per listing) will be stored in the database. Images will remain on the remote server, but their absolute URLs must be retrieved.

The pages for searching listings, displaying results and displaying properties already exist, and the SQL Server tables that the information is stored in will not change. We simply need to populate the existing tables from the importer that queries the web service. We will provide existing SQL Server table structure at the time the project begins.
