I am looking for someone to write a general letter layout on seeking sponsorship (donations) from corporate companies in Melbourne. In return the companies will have their logos attach to every printouts of our organisation (flyers, brochure, stickers, event posters, etc.) Here is what the project is all about: Every child deserves a safe home and a quality education. The LIL Project is committed to supporting orphanages and schools in impoverished communities. Mission LIL stands for “Living In Love”. The LIL Project is driven by the core values of peace, love, and liberty. We believe that education is the key to these values. Every child deserves a safe home and a quality education. It is through the provision of love and education that they can find hope to live out their dreams. The LIL Project is committed to supporting orphanages and schools in impoverished communities around the globe. Funds are raised through private donations and corporate sponsorship, and also by hosting events affiliated with various sub-cultures of art. Our efforts largely work in line with the arts. We believe that art is the universal language of love and hope. It can cross cultural boundaries, inspire liberty, and ignite social change. Description I started The Lil Project after travelling to developing countries- like Kenya, Uganda, and Indonesia- where organizations receive over millions of dollars in aid, but you can’t see the evidence of what the money is doing. I thought it was time to try something new. There are millions of orphans in the world, and to me, I strongly feel that they haven’t had a fair chance at life. Some are born in war-torn countries, some are left to fend for themselves because AIDS took their parents, and others are just abandoned because their parents couldn’t afford to take care of them. The Lil Project is a non-profit project that was started in 2010 after the Haiti Earthquake. Its original intention was to sponsor "God’s Little Angels", an orphanage in Haiti that was severely devastated by the earthquake and was in desperate need of assistance. But 6 months later, my 5 partners and I decided to expand it to African orphanages as well. The Lil Project basically chooses an orphanage in need, that I myself and/or one my partners have visited, and we sponsor them through the project. So far, we sponsor an orphanage in Haiti, Kenya, and Zambia; and we are currently working on expanding these efforts to Iraq and Uganda, and other places in need. We do this through fundraising events that range from art auctions to getting schools to run bake sales. As a photographer and a writer, I sell my work with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the orphanages. Apart from this kind of fundraising, we also give people the choice to donate as they please. The philosophy intertwined in The Lil Project’s DNA is "I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any other human being, let me not, defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again". We are one world. No matter our colour, our religion, or our origin, we are one people and we can never shy away from that. So when our fellow citizens of the world suffer, it will affect us all. We should all aspire to help each other endure this life. It is The Lil Project’s belief that everyone, no matter what circumstances they were born in, deserves a fair chance at life. That’s what we aim to provide for those who live in unfortunate circumstances. The fundraising that we do goes to fund things such as school and daily necessities. Through this, we encourage the children to help and care for their poverty impoverished communities. So we have food handouts in the communities where everyone can come and get food. Thousands and thousands of kids go to sleep hungry and survive on barely a meal a day, so with these efforts, we provide a chance for those children who don’t have access to an orphanage for whatever reason, to have a source of the very basics, food.
