WMD Technologies is looking for someone with that can develop partnerships, close sales, and meet our revenue targets. Strong skills in consultative selling and communication are required. Must have a sharp understanding of the e-learning space, high degree of empathy and ability to listen to clients to understand their problems and connect that with our solutions. This position offers a base hourly compensation + commission with OTE compensation of $50K. Please note, we're a bootstrapped a startup; you will be building a prospect list entirely from scratch. Success in this role is evaluated by revenue growth as measured against monthly performance goals.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end development of RFP responses, including identifying partners for subcontracting opportunities
Create custom service/SOW proposals for current and prospective clients
Schedule and conduct sales presentations for prospective clients
Conduct online meetings to gather client requirements
Prospecting, developing and executing strategies to identify and reach existing markets
Create reports that measure the growth of new business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Research centralized contracts and cultivate relationships with agencies and vendors
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Related experience in B2B sales and business development
Excellent business writing, communication, phone and presentation skills
Ability to work independently with a record of overachieving sales quotas
Mastery of Microsoft Office and Web conferencing tools
