Create a small framework using JAVA/J2EE, Spring. Develop a login page that takes input username and password from user through frontend(HTML5, CSS, Javascript angular/node js) and verifies it with the entries in a Mysql db. The authentication/login "web service" should facilitate session management. On successful login it should show a success message in green. On unsuccessful login attempt, it should show error message in red.

Adding bootstrap to frontend would be best option. MD5 encryption must! Code must be error free.
Better if submitted with a design document.
