Competitive/ Market Research

We are looking for market research based around our medical software product. We want to gain an in depth understanding of who our competitors are, how they are positioning themselves , what they are doing that is successful and not.

We are launching a hosted software product targeted to hospitals and physician practices.

Here are some questions I am interested in. Your report would ideally cover most of these areas.

- Who are that we will be up against – traditional and start-ups? How does our positioning, technology and pricing compare?

- Who do these competitors partner with should we approach any of their partners for marketing or reseller purposes?

- What marketing tactics are they using that are effective? Trade show, Leads, SEO/SEM?
