We are developing a website that helps users track their dynamic name servers, or DNS, and need someone knowledgeable of DNS, with strong writing skills, to develop content for this website.
This is the content we need:
What is DNS? (500-700 words)
We need one page to describe what Dynamic Name Servers are and why they are used. This page should be well organized into individual sections with short paragraphs, and written for users with have limited technical knowledge.
Essentially, everything should be broken down into laymen’s terms. This page should also elaborate on the future of IPv6, Domain Name Resolution, and how other languages are incorporated into DNS, and Reverse DNS applications.
How DNS works (500-800 words)
This page should explain how the DNS hierarchy is structured, as well as the: registrars, nameservers, TLDs, the seven layers of the OSI model, routing(not routers) in computer networks. Also explain how DNS algorithms and routing protocols work and the theory behind them briefly.
What is Dynamic DNS? (500-700 words)
This page should explain Dynamic DNS and how it affects internet security. It should also detail how dynamic DNS works, and the ISP’s role in Dynamic DNS
DNS for Home and Business Security (300-400 words)
The article should explain how dynamic DNS is used for home and commercial business security systems, along with the routers that are compatible with other dynamic DNS services.
What is RFC? (400-500 words)
A page that explains requests for comments and the internet engineering task force, summaries and links of RFC articles that pertain to DNS and Dynamic DNS
DNS Lookup (300-500 words)
A page to explain how the DNS lookup tool works (translation of Host Name to IP address)
Reverse DNS Lookup (300-500 words)
A page to explain how the Reverse DNS Lookup tool works (translation of IP address to Host Name)
Domain Blacklist Check (300-500 words)
Full article on SURBL and DNSBL, the nonprofit organizations that collect the host names and IP addresses submitted, the validity of the lists, problems with the lists, how the lists affect marketing and security, etc.
Report SPAM (300-500 words)

Full article on How to determine if you are using a proxy, the negative and positive effects of proxy servers on DNS, why websites cannot be behind a proxy, the role of proxy servers in DNS, etc.
TraceRoute (300-500 words)
Full article on the TraceRoute tool and how it is a reflection of the DNS process.
WHOIS (300-500 words)
Full article on how WHOIS works and the databases required for their function. DNS role in WHOIS.
