** REPOSTING THIS JOB, WITH A GREATER FOCUS ON THE ELECTRONICS DESIGN AS OPPOSED TO FORM FACTOR**
I'm looking for someone to design an battery-powered array of bright white LED lights (or a single, powerful LED), with the end goal of the electronics fitting in a casing (which I will build based on the electronics) approximately half the dimensions of an iPhone, along with a wireless remote control on/off switch (herein referred to as the "Device").
The Device should be bright enough to be seen clearly from approximately 50 to 75 meters away in dark conditions. The Device will be activated (i.e. turned on and off) via the remote control, with the default switch position being off. The remote control should be approximately the dimensions of an iPod Shuffle (w:4cm x H:4cm x D:0.5cm), with a single, large button on the front, and a tiny, red LED light in the corner to indicate that the button is active. When a user holds down the button on the remote, the light/lights will turn on, and when the button is released, the light/lights turn off (i.e. the lights only come on while the button is being held down by the user, but they cannot remain on without this continuous pressure). The remote and light array should be able to operate wirelessly within a range of approximately 7.5 meters. The batteries should be replaceable and of a type easily available, but long lasting (maybe something like a watch battery, but I'm open to suggestions).
Ideally you'd provide an electronics design/schematic which I could take to a manufacturer, plus have you build a working unit that I can test to see if it operates correctly. The design of the board and lights should fit into the dimensions I outline above (I will work on the plastic casing after I have the electronics done). This should be a very simple circuit to build, so the schematic should be easy to understand.
I will also need to consult with you on material costs. Ideally you could present a few different material options and I choose which group of parts makes the most sense for my needs vs. cost to build (e.g. multiple weaker LEDs vs. a single powerful one).
I can provide detailed drawings of the intended design to whoever this project is awarded to, and help fill in any missing details on how this Device should look and operate.
Hi there!
My name is Keith and I am a professional electrical engineer here in the US. I now work solely as a contracting designer and freelancer. I am knowledgable in all sorts of microcontroller implementations, circuit design, embedded systems, mechanical systems, and more.
I always enjoy the opportunity to work on such a variety of interesting projects here on Freelancer and invite you to have a look at my resume and portfolio. I am hardworking and understand that when all is said and done, my clients need something that works well and done direct to your specifications.

I can do for you the desired device, respectively, with a demonstration of work.
I have long been engaged in LED display devices.
I also find solution for the best wireless control.
Hello Sir,
I am an experienced Electronic Engineer with a good previous feedback from my employers. I have four years experience in the field and I would like to work on your project.
I have resources and can demonstrate the working device and I can even ship it to you. Please contact if you are interested. Thank you

Hi,
I can do this project for LED base project
Following shall be the expected milestones:
1. Specification requirement document.
2. Schematics using Altium
3. Simulation of code and electronics (Where ever possible)
4. Software delivery.
About my self , I have 14 year experience in electronics, micro-controllers and system designing, i am quite confident that I can take your project.
You can also review my profile and my clients comments.
Best Regards.
Hi,
I'm an electronics engineer with more than 6 years of experience in designing and developing various digital and embedded systems...
Currently I help engineering students to complete their academic projects. Also conduct seminars and workshops on Microcontrollers and Robotics...
So I have experienced with a lot of Microcontrollers such as PIC, AVR, ARM, Arduino etc. I'm also experience with a lot of sensors and sensor modules....
I'm very proficient with EAGLE too...
Please check my completed projects and reviews given by other employers...:-)
You didn't mention, is it for indoor uses or outdoor?
Since it is 7.5 mtrs I guess we have to use RF instead of IR....
I really would like to know more about your project, kindly let me know if you are interested...:-)
Thank You
Hi,
I have read and understood the project guideline, so you can trust my sincere indulgence both in quality and time frame. I have done similar projects in the past. I will like to use my experience to serve you better. If you will give me a chance, I will ensure that you're satisfied. I'm sure we can work together. Please reply, let’s discuss further. A trial will convince you. Thanks
Hello, I've worked several time as a freelance designing electronic circuit always thinking in a cost-benefit way. I'm hard working and very skilled in schematic-PCB design.
I've worked on wireless applications using radio frecuency and know where to look into RF applications like yours. I have experience also with illumination applications( a few months ago designed a bicycle high power lamp, using high powe LEDs and DC to DC converters)
You wont regret my professional work
I have been making robots with arduino and analog electronics since 4 years, now i have started a company that makes robots and digital circuits.
I am a circuit hacker and a DIY so i can solve pretty complicated problems. I can be your consultant as well as your circuit designer.
