I require a 3-D CAD drawing of a supercomputer made from 2d pictures.
Attached are:
1) Some of the better pictures to work off off
2) A spec sheets of the system
3) A rough 3-D CAD drawing (in Google Sketchup)
Dimensions of actual system:
There are limited specs so the drawer will have to scale this.
System is 53" across 45" high, it consists of 14 columns in a 300 degree arc.
Detail Needed:
I'd like the level of detail to contain the modules you see (8 boards make up a module). A single board just needs the board drawn and some squares to represent the chips. A module consists of 8 of these boards stacked on top of each other. I can provide very detailed pics of the module.
There are 28 modules in the top column, and a different ,odule in the bottom which holds 10.
I'd like to place screw holes and screws for detail. Need the insides (at least the baffles and the chassis and dividers.
While it looks like a big job, once you build out a board, the module is a stack of 8, once that is together a single column has 28 of them together. That's the most complex section i think.
Anyway take a look, let me know if you need more pictures.
A program like photomodeler which converts 2d pics to 3-d may help with the scaling and initial layout or some other tool. Though I did some intial scaling for the model included and it didn't take much time to figure out.
## Deliverables
I'd like the individual components as std format files for cad (autocad or similar).
And I'd like a file that contains the entire assembly... a big plus would be a rendered image as well.
