I have an application that I currently bundle up with apache tomcat. It consists of 2 war files. I would like a scripted way of creating "single-click" installers for major OSs. My preference would be that it runs from Ant or Maven, but I am flexible on this. There seem to be a few tools out there. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] seems to be a strong contender and works with Maven The script would have to do the following 1) Splash screen 2) Accept license 3) Check for pre-requisites for running tomcat - (JDK) 3) extract the tomcat zip 4) change the file permisions of the scripts in the bin directory on linux 5) option to install as a service 6) Start tomcat 7) Open browser at correct URL

I can do this using IzPack. I think a simple hyperlink on the last installation screen is the best solution for step 7. Regards
