It is true I am new to professionally paid artwork, but I have been doing and have enjoyed art all my life. I can be quite playful at times, though usually dryly serious, and have some knowledge of color theory from art studies, where red and yellow are the most happy colors and blue is the most "blue" color. So far, I am a professional calligrapher and published artist. I designed my own logo for my own website and my father's original logo for his non-profit organization, so I actually have experience in such things. The main thing is the use of space (and unused space) and something that catches the eye, simple though it may be. You either have an artistic eye for it or you don't, no matter what your training. I have learned in my study of Chinese calligraphy the Chinese sensitivity to use of blank space on purpose, whereas a novice would be tempted to made dizzyingly busy use of all available space. If you think in Ying and Yang, then you've got the concept. I have been gifted with an artistic eye. Thank you for your consideration of my bid.
