Build a homepage of choice

Design a home page for yourself using whatever content you wish about your life as a student at MSU (See below for some suggestions for content). Your grade for this portion will be based on both the design of the page (using the design principles layed out in your text and discussed in our lectures) as well as the structure and use of the underlying HTML. You can lay out the page however you wish but you must include the items listed below as required elements. As with any design project you need to understand your audience and keep them in mind during design. You should make this a page presenting you and MSU assuming your audience to be fellow students or possibly even potential employers. (Please indicate in a META tag for "Audience" to describe who your intended audience is.) I will grade the project with this audience in mind Required elements: A Horizontal Rule At least two different listing elements (OL, UL, or DL) with multiple items Proper META data and TITLE (This MUST include, among other things the use of the <META Name="Author" Content="your name here"> tag. Use a non-white background color or a background image At least 2 links to outside documents (might I suggest the MSU home page as one) At least one link to an anchor point inside your document (E.g. divide it into sections, or just have a jump back to the top of hte document.) Use at least 2 different images and or icons within the documents. (If you want to scan a picture of yourself or some other photograph, you can scan at the Learning Resource Center on the 4th floor of the MSU Library.) There are many image or icon libraries available online, and one of them is accessible through the "go" button in the AceHTML editor, others you can find through net search engines. You can also just right click on an image in a web page and save the image to your hard drive. Proper separation of Style and Content is required, so try to limit use of stylistic HTML tags. Include a table with whatever appropriate content you feel fits (note: you can NOT use the table you generated for assignments 4 and/or 5).
