Build a wordpress-buddypress social networking site

I am in need of a social networking website using Wordpress and Buddypress as the foundation. I am however open to wordpress community plugins (including premium) if you think they would work better for my requirement. The main aim of this assignment is to develop a site which allows users to generate “wishlists” of stuff they would want to receive as gifts on occasions like birthday, festivals etc. Think of these wishlists as custom type posts generated in a site which accepts user generated posts from the front end. I would want users to have social login and to be restricted to front end for all activities such as creating wishlists, editing their profile page, viewing friends wishlists, adding friends, sending message etc. The wordpress backend (dashboard) is quite intimidating for the average person, I want them to stay out of it. There are a few special functions I want to be developed for my website, these maybe deployed by using plugins (stable, don’t slow the website) 1. The way in which wishlists are created This is basically a custom post type or a form. It will have a title field, description field, and several ‘list items’ fields. Each ‘list item’ field includes – an item title, a url field (which when filled automagically pulls out content from the url, much like what Facebook does), and a description field. The user can add list item fields dynamically themselves, as many as they require. (Gravity forms plugin ???) Once the user has filled all the details, they can post it. The post triggers a message to share a prefilled text on facebook and or twitter or G+. The post has an edit link visible to the author of the post if they want to edit something. Once published, the wishlist appears to the viewer as a post containing following, a. Title b. Description c. All items are listed sequentially with i. Item name – linked to url. ii. url snippet which was grabbed from the url page in a box iii. description added by user 2. Some logic and coding is also required to send reminder emails. All users receive email reminders two weeks (this time of 2 weeks should be editable) before a. They are going to have their birthdays, or if b. Their friends are going to have birthdays (This email will have a list of friends who are going to be having their birthday’s within the coming two weeks. The name of the friends in the email will be linked to their wishlists page.) c. HTML Email templates to be used for both (a) and (b) above should be editable This would perhaps use queries over custom fields (ACF plugin??) to generate a database which then creates cron job. All users should also be added to mailpoet subscription plugin which can be used to send custom mail. 3. Graphic design is something which has to be custom and really appealing. The website should not have any problem in working with caching plugins. Apart from these features, the other things would mostly involve customization of the features, registration form, profile form, who can access what content, facebook integration etc. Being a community, users can see the wishlists of their friends, add friends and so on. There would be other benefits of community like making groups, sending private message etc. At a later stage I would want to get into Mobile app, but for the now the responsive theme should allow the site to be readily usable on smartphones. I expect and understand that the website development may need premium theme and premium plugins. I would also buy a new VPS hosting for my site.
