Build a Website that promotes a running race

I am directing a running race in Georgia (USA) on Saturday, October 17, 2015. The race will be called the Fearless Four Miler and will take place to raise money for cancer. The race will obviously need a website to promote it, and that's why I need help. I have already reserved the [login to view URL] domain name. I would like to build this website in WordPress if possible. The race itself will be unique: There is a large prize for a world record set in this race (either $50,000 or $100,000, paid for by insurance money in case someone does it) and this potential prize should be very obvious across the page. There will be other race prizes as well. Also, there will be at least one celebrity (possibly more than one) running the race to draw attention to cancer research. This person's likeness should be displayed on the website on certain pages. I have worked out the main navigation categories, but have not written the text. I would like this race to be very successful the first year, and then grow in years after that. There will be an e-commerce component to the race - people must be able to register for the race from the website. They will be directed to [login to view URL] where the actual registration will take place (pop-up window of [login to view URL]), but the process must begin on my website. I need a logo designed as well ... I am going to create a contest on here for that design. The website needs to be up and operational by February 15. Keith
