Admin Assistant

We are a very small business (two people) in Melbourne, Australia looking for a regular Virtual Assistant. We are in the Theatre Industry and we create and present Workshops throughout the country. Our Workshops are usually put on in the school holidays and are often about Audition Technique for children. The work would involve emailing clients, marketing (incl social media), data entry, putting together research packs about musicals etc, setting up Wufoo forms, creating Mail Chimp sends. They will need to set up Wufoo forms as this is our ticketing system and we regularly send out Mail Chimp emails to our database so they will need to be / become proficient in these. Also must be proficient in Word, Excel and Photoshop (or other image based software). Attention to detail and consistency in formatting is a must. The VA may need to make phone calls now and then but that won't be a big part of the job. Common sense, initiative, creativity and good research skills are required. MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY as they may be paying people and issuing invoices from the Paypal account. The work amount would vary from week to week. Busy weeks may be a day or two worth of work and there will be some weeks there may only be an hour or two worth of work to do (if any). The research is quite interesting work and putting the information packs together involves a certain level of creativity. We are looking to create an ongoing relationship where the VA becomes an ongoing third wheel in our company.
