We are preparing to launch a kickstarter campaign for our game Rolling Empires. It is a fantasy empire dice building game. We need box art for our game. This will be the representative image for our product. It needs to be of high grade and really stand out.
As a reference (for back story purposes), there was a great flash of light seen by all creatures in the land. A great meteor struck the ground exploding in a brilliant flash of light. This meteor carried with it gems of great power. All who possess these gems could control the lands.
It is a fantasy based game with dwarves, elves, goblins, wizards, etc. It is based as much on building as it is on warfare. We envision the cover to look something like a flash of light in the centre of the image with bolts of energy flaring outwards. On the side, a field being harvested by elves just outside a castle wall. All of them are drawn to the light, looking towards it..... something like that.
We would require the entire box to be covered. The side panels are not as integral to have images as much as a beautiful colored texture. The back of the box would be textured and show different game components and have a description of the game, etc. Search board game boxes for reference. We have included some images for your reference, in regards to caliber of art work required. Keep in mind that this is NOT only a game about war....
