PLEASE READ THE SPECIFICATIONS IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT CAREFULLY.
TAKE YOUR TIME BEFORE SUBMITTING A QUOTE. I WILL NOT BE DECIDING BEFORE NEXT WEEK. The final set of specs will simply include a bit more explanatory info, not more features / requests, just more info compared to the ones attached.
TIME is not the most important factor to be taken under consideration, so please provide realistic timeframe.
At the current stage, the 2 important factors are primarily Cost and Quality, so we can aim at using READILY MADE features / plug-ins, even from 3rd PARTY PROVIDERS (hence updates will be easily implemented), and you can put them together .
Note that, if I am asking for a feature with 7 functionalities and there is a ready-made module / plug-in which we could get for free or pay a reasonable one-off fee and then only copy-paste but only offers 5 of those functionalities, please let me know and I could compromise so as to use the ready-made plug-in and leave those 2 extra functionalities for now (provided they are not part of the website's main functionalities). If it would be cheaply or costly to manually add those 2 extra functionalities let me know to consider.
One option would be to build it like a WP website / use other platforms (Magento or something) with readily-made modules with an easy to use Admin Panel, so put together as many of these readily made ones, thus minimizing customization.
IMPORTANT: The website design should be flexible to fit and adjust to all devises and screen dimensions, no applications needed, just like wordpress (or other) templates that adjust automatically.
Description: this project will be a reverse auction website, where users can buy items and/or services from vendors.
• There will not be any items or services visible on the website for users to browse openly, and they will be available only upon request.
• Users will be filling-in a form asking for offers based on price and description.
• Vendors will be receiving the requests and will then be sending offers to the users.
• Then users can decide whether to buy or not those items from our website.
The layout will be very plain, nothing complex. There will be 3 types of pages (logo needs to be designed as well):
1. Homepage (similar to www. [login to view URL])
2. User profile (standard design as with most e-commerce templates)
3. Vendor profile (standard design as with most e-commerce templates)
4. Items display (standard design as with most e-commerce templates)
...so if we use a 3rd party software like Magento these should be readily made

• Request form for user to fill in
• User profile
• Vendor profile
• System for vendors to upload items and then once they receive offer request, to choose which items to send to users
• Product page like net-a-porter
• Chat for users to speak with vendors
• Vouchers creation system
• Payment system: Paypal
• Item delivery / transportation system: 3rd party APIs
• Automated emails
• Newsletter
• Complete admin system (e.g. footer content could be the Wordpress system and the sales to be elsewhere e.g. Magento)
