CMJ is a tool intended to help an experienced traveler find cities they may travel through, on un-affiliated, unrelated airlines. This tool is especially useful for the low-cost carriers within Asia and Europe. CMJ is not intended to direct-sell tickets to users, but rather facilitate trip planning, and uncover options that are not presented by any other online travel agent. For example: CMJ can help uncover that while trying to fly from Venice to Brussels, a traveler can stopover in Berlin. This may require a change of airports and airlines, but they can now plan a side trip to Berlin. Technical Need: -Create web-scraping method to create route database from identified sources -Develop simple-search capabilities, with the ability for a user to save their search results to pre-defined itineraries -Consider connection to standard search APIs for direct-sell opportunities. Items (1) and (2) are of highest priority. The tool was originally designed on Drupal. A demo can be provided.
