I read the full project description, and understood the task. Photoshop can add just a few effect that make picture much more professional and less homemade. What kind of effect I would add, I dont know, I would have to see the picture, but it is quite possible to do. You can review photos I added to my portfolio just to see how much photoshop masking and effect can change the picture.
