Hello! I'm an IT Engineer(Yes, you read that right!) and do part-time graphic designing. Building customer facing software applications requires one to have a keen eye for the UI/UX perspective of the software because that is what the customer looks at and remembers you by! So, I decided to study and work on graphics and logo design to increase my my outlook towards the design part of things. I will just guide you through the process that I follow when I design logos! Step 1 : Gather requirements and other information - In this step I will require some input from you as to certain aspects of the company like name, history, why did you start the company?, what all services you provide? what products you build or intend to build? This helps understanding various feelings/emotions/colours,etc that the users should associate with the company and the logo! I will give you brief of this in the form of a small paragraph! Step 2: Design tentative samples - Based on the inputs received I will give you 3-5 sample logos that I have designed. These designs are not final but give you the jist as to what I have thought. You can select and 1-2 designs on which I will work more based on both current feedback and finishing touches. Step 3: FInal Selection - Out of the 2 chosen from the previous step, you can select any one and we are good to go! :D Certain variations like colour/grayscaled, logos in different sizes and image formats(Photoshop, PNG and JPEG) will be provided
