Add New Magazines and Video. Magazines should either be a standard wordpress post or custom post. Requires both Categories and Tags On Add of New magazine Enter Title (standard post title text field), Select Category (Standard list of taxonomy Categories) Enter Tags (standard tag entry field) Upload PDF - a button or function available on this page This must not upload the pdf to this website, but directly to yumpu.com. The idea is not to host these large files on this website but rather using a service that is built specifically for this (traffic wise and professional look and feel). currently there is a yumpu wordpress plugin (E-paper) that allows uploads of pdfs from wordpress directly to the [login to view URL] site - this plugin meets the requirement partially and would need to be adapted/customized to improve the adding of a magazine within this wordpress site. On upload of PDF, a thumbnail image is automatically generated from the first page of the uploaded PDF. The dimensions of this thumbnail image should be based on settings which can be maintained via the admin panel. This generated thumbnail should be automatically linked to this new magazine post as the main Featured Image - this image will be used on the thumbnail browsing pages. Currently the yumpu plugin that uploads a pdf generates a shortcode which can be manually inserted in a post which converts to an embedded iframe of the PDF uploaded to yumpu.com. This shortcode should be automatically added to the main content section of this magazine post. Entry is saved/published and available as the latest magazine for browsing. Magazine Browsing Pages. We currently have 3 magazines published in many locations. There will be one Category defined per Magazine (3 Categories) - this will increase. Each of these Magazines will have their own browsing page. The browsing page title will generally be the magazine / category name - but may vary. The top left half of the page , at least 500px height, will have a general description of the magazine and some text and maybe titles / offers etc.. - basically a rich text content area. The top right hand side of the page (same height), will be the featured magazine (with title : Featured) This will simply be the latest uploaded magazine in this category - it will show the featured image of the pdf which on click would behave as per other magazine thumbnails - described below. Next row should contain a free text search field (oversized or full width field), maybe animated on click of magnifying glass search field expands. The search is based on title and tags of magazine. It should dynamically display results in a drop down list as each letter is typed in. Next row should contain the grid view list of all magazines in this category. the format of the grid view should default to the same width as the content above, with either 3 or 4 thumbnails per row. Each thumbnail should include the title below the image. Both the title and image should link to the magazine detail page. The default number of items listed on the page should be 3 or 4 rows, this should be a setting that is maintainable via the admin panel. The page should be completely responsive for all devices, and so the settings for the layout of the grid should also be an option maintainable via the admin panel - to select the number of displayed columns for pc, tablet and phone. There should be a "Load More" button at the bottom of the grid page which dynamically loads more grid results, adding another 3 or 4 rows each time. Very important: The search field filtering should be in place/dymanic - remaining on the current page, with the same layout and displaying all results according to the search criteria.
