I would suggest to use linux based with ubuntu 14.04LTS, with mysql as the database for mailboxes and virtual users and domains. Dovecot or Courier plus Postfix as the mail agents and authenticators. ClamAV for the antivirus. Spam Assasin plus Post Grey for added security on spam removal. ISPCONFIG for easy management and a webmail client of your choice. I would also setup your DNS especially SPF to ensure mail is always delivered. This setup can handle hundreds of thousands of mail per day.

We have build the physical server, register the domain and install and configure all the required software.
