I need the garden bed against the front of my house lowered by approx 600mm, to help counter a damp issue. The area is approx 20m x 1m It's is down stairs from street level so is not suited to even a small excavator. This would need to be done by hand. Would suit 2 people. Soil can be relocated at the rear of our property (50m away). You will need your own wheelbarrow as mine died. A small amount of vegetation would need to be removed.

Hi, I'm a fit, mature, honest and reliable guy looking for some extra money. I've spent many a hour digging garden beds, moving piles of soil on a 5 acre property I used to own. This property had a couple of acres of gardens etc so I'm well aware of what needs to be done and the work involved. Am I correct in assuming that it is only soil that needs to be moved and no rock?
