Case Briefs

Each student must post a 'brief' of a court case that deals with Due Process in this Forum. This assignment will be done like the 'make a new law' assignment, in that you will open a new thread for your brief, title the thread as the name of the case, and provide a description of the case in the body. The description of the case MUST address 3 elements that are found every case briefing: 1) The Facts of the Case 2) The Question the case resolves 3) The Conclusion or Answer to the Question The cases must deal with some aspect of Due Process The best cases will receive bonus points on the next exam Many of these cases will appear on the next exam...I will give case facts and ask you to match the facts to the case's name. The Assignment is due November 19th Basic rules for assignment: *Do not duplicate cases **Copy/Pasting is OK ***Do not do briefs for cases that are fully covered in chapter (ie. Miranda v. Arizona, Mapp v. Ohio, etc.).
