Database Synchronisation Technology Report

Write an in-depth report about the types of synchronisation technologies available for databases (such as different replication types, mirroring, Sync Framework) and other data stores. Cite figures showing how much each of these technologies are used, or produce estimates based upon very firm cited facts. Find out which types of businesses are using these synchronisation technologies and rank them in order of usage. Find the top specific business cases and scenarios these synchronisation technologies are used for. Finally, find the major business cases and scenarios where current synchronisation technology falls short, and find the challenges which remain to be properly solved. Produce estimates based on well cited facts for the potential market size, if a company could solve these problems. All work needs to be backed up by evidence and citations. Don’t make assumptions without justification. This report will help drive our business strategy and the information presented will be presented to the board, so it needs to cover the market well and be extremely accurate.

## Deliverables

1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).

2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
