I have a section of a website on a Linux server protected with Apache Basic Authentication. I would like to avoid the default browser popup (the "grey screen") presented when a user types in the URL of the protected area.
I am seeking a script that will perform similarly to the script advertised at <[login to view URL]>
Since I wish to distribute this script with another script I am developing, I do not want to use that one, but I want the same functionality and features.
