Design a Logo

Here are the iStock photos I like. The ones with the * are the drawings, which I think is easier to re-do for your designer. But overall, please pick the ones that would look best as a logo, not just on map. Ideally, the pin would be on some surface, possibly on map, but the map can be round, so as not to conflict too much with Google Maps.. Here, the emphasis is on the Pin, not the map. So we should be able to use the Pin on plain surface and still keep the brand identity. So, the surface below the Pin can be a plain round surface – like a giant dot or point – which is a “point”. The dot can sometimes be a map and sometimes just a point, but it should work with the size / dimensions of other brands, such as the box from [login to view URL], or F from facebook, or the short Houzz symbol, so that the size of our Pin would be visible and discernable among these brands. So the overall size of the Pin should be about the size of the current logo for the finders. I have an idea of having the Pin follow the colors of each of the current finders, so blue/turquoise for new construction, red/grey for remodel, orange/grey for commercial space, green/black for lot, blue/orange for rental. Here the Pin can be the dominant color and the light reflection or shadow can be the secondary color. Also, the bottom dot or map can be the 3rd color. If you look at the color combo of the current finder logos in relation to each site, you will get the idea of what I am saying.
