Dear Madam or Sir, I have great experience in Matlab, in particular in computer vision and machine learning. As a software developer and mathematician I am familiar with the practical part and the theoretical part of the problem. If your pictures only contain the eyes (and not the whole face) I suggest the following rough outline: 1. Convert to grey image 2. Apply the canny filter 3. Apply an gaussian filter 4. Apply the (Circular or Elliptical) Hough Transformation to extract circles/ellipses. 5. From all the circles, find the midpoint and diameter of pupil and iris and thus detect it. 6. Draw the circles of iris and pupil onto the image and export data. However, there are many other advanced techniques available. Therefore, I am looking forward to discuss your exact needs in the chat. I can suggest other more complicated techniques to you.
