Android-based Mobile School Directory

I am looking to hire a programmer to create the first phase of an Android OS-based school directory. If this milestone is completed well, there will be more follow on work. The application shall select data from a backend database (xml , sql, txt, et cetera.) 1.2. The database shall consist of the following fields… 1.2.1. School name (with http link to school’s web site) 1.2.2. State 1.2.3. Address 1.2.4. Phone number 1.2.5. Email address 1.2.6. Median GPA for admission 1.2.7. Median test score for admission 2. Application functionality 2.1. At Initial launch of application… 2.1.1. A default list of schools shall be displayed 2.1.2. The default school list shall be unfiltered 2.1.3. The default school list shall be sorted as follows: 2.1.3.1. First sort order shall be ascending by state 2.1.3.2. Second sort order shall by ascending by school name 2.2. Using the application 2.2.1. The user shall be able to select a school from the displayed list 2.2.2. Upon selecting a school, a new screen that displays the following data shall be displayed: 2.2.2.1. School name (with http link to school’s web site) 2.2.2.2. Address 2.2.2.3. Phone number (if null, nothing displayed) 2.2.2.4. Email address (if null, nothing displayed) 2.2.2.5. Median GPA for admission (if null, nothing displayed) 2.2.2.6. Median test score for admission (if null, nothing displayed) 2.3. Button functionality 2.3.1. Home button 2.3.1.1. Selecting the home button shall take the user to the home screen 2.3.2. Menu button 2.3.2.1. Selecting the menu button shall display a single search option to search the application 2.3.2.2. The search option shall enable the user to enter a search term(s). 2.3.2.3. Once the search term(s) is/are entered, the application shall search the school name, address, and state fields of the database for the search term(s) entered. 2.3.3. Back button 2.3.3.1. Selecting the back button shall take the user to the previous screen 2.3.4. Search button 2.3.4.1. The search button shall enable the user to enter a search term or terms. 2.3.4.2. Once the search term is entered, the application shall search the school name, address, and state fields of the database for the search term(s) entered. 2.3.4.3. Once the search term(s) is/are entered, the application shall search the school name, address, and state fields of the database for the search term(s) entered. Prior to completion of this project, please deliver a compiled binary for me to install and test the functionality as described on my personal Android handset. Once testing is completed, please deliver final binary, and a zipped file of the source code.
