Create a cross platform (android / ios) app which will access data on a website and format the view for mobile. Likely technologies will be Phonegap + JQuery mobile or similar, you bring your expertise to the table. Project is relatively straight forward and will be milestoned. Will require some graphics ability / UI design, javascript, iOS and android build environment prowess (xcode, eclipse). To help evaluate potential contractors we require an example phonegap app your firm has created. This app can have any demo functionality, we're looking for professional code, appropriate and professional code comments, and a short text description of the app, as well as the compiled version (apk ideally) or build instructions. Please note we are not asking for app you've designed for a client, just a sample app that demonstrates your firm's ability to create quality software. please forward example to: x-freelancer [at] [login to view URL] or I can share a dropbox folder. The app we are trying to create will be fairly simple, dealing with a REST api, loading images in an infinite scroll, some URL rewriting. The basic functionality of the app will be using this api from a popular website to render a view for users (basically just an html5 page) We have a specification and once are under an NDA I can forward this spec, please also send your email so that I can send the NDA. Hi, We have a very strong dedicated team of developers having experience with Phonegap using html5 and various frameworks, like Sencha touch, backbone JS, etc. I am not sure we can send you the demo code at a bid stage as it will violate the terms of use (exposing each others identity through email contact). We are happy to create a prototype as well as show you the similar live applications on app store which were designed by us. One of the app is very similar to what your description suggests. We had worked on a news aggregator which used to call rest services to the sencha front-end packaged with Phonegap. The app used to consume both public and privileged content hence had multi user types. I am quite certain that given a chance we should be able to provide you with a good service and a good product.
