Hi I have a game like arkanoid started in unity3D - it's a 2D game project. It's very small game.
I need a programmer to add few features for the game.
Whats to be done:
-12 different special effects dropping from destroyed bricks (making the Player bigger, adding more balls, making ball destroy few bricks in line etc.)
- 6 types of block behaviour (undestroyable, destroyable after X hits, falling bricks etc)
- Win/Lose condition
- Ability to unlock and choose player ship's graphics
U only need to make pure code - no graphics as I have them.
Shouldn't take more then 2 days of work :)
I will send all info to all interested people.
Here is the full list of needed work:
- 12 different special effects dropping from destroyed bricks (making the Player bigger, adding more balls, making ball destroy few bricks in line etc.) Every skill resets after a certain time or when player loses a life. Each block can contain 1 special skill in skill holder - so when player destroys the block the skill bubble goes down and player can take it just by touching it with a ship.
1. Size Up - makes player's ship (with collider) bigger by 50% of actual size (max 2 size up's at the time). Duration: 60 seconds
2. Shrink - makes player's ship (with collider) smaller by 50% of actual size (max 1 size down at the time from standard size, this skill also makes a ship smaller from the "Size Up" skill). Duration: 60 seconds
3. Additional life - gives a player additional life
4. Triple ball - makes player's actual ball divide into 3 balls, so there will be three ball at the game at the time. (Player will lose a life when all 3 balls will be lost. Only 1 Triple ball effect may be activated at a time)
5. Slow ball - player's ball moves at 50% of it's actual speed (max 1 at a time). Duration: 30 seconds
6. Fast ball - player's ball moves at 150% of it's actual speed (max 1 at a time). Duration: 30 seconds
7. Glue Ball - player's ball sticks to the player's ship every time it touches the ship making it stop. To shoot the ball player must press the shoot key. Duration: 30 seconds
8. Ultra Ball - player's ball moves through every block without stopping destroying everything it touches. It can only bounce off stage edges and players ship. Duration: 15 seconds
9. Lights Out - skill making the game harder for player - for the next 20 seconds whole screen will go black for 2 seconds every 2 seconds. These will be something like screen flashes.
10. Turn out - makes the screen mirrored (180 degrees) for 10 seconds
11. Extra safety - creates a wall under player's ship (the whole screen width) that bounces the ball like the ship for 20 seconds. Player can't move the wall.
12. Extra beam - enables player to shoot a beam in straight forward direction once, that will destroy all bricks in line. Beam will be shown for a short time when shot and it will fire when player presses the fire button.
- 6 types of block behaviour
* Block that can't be destroyed
* Block that can be destroyed after 2 hits
* Block that can be destroyed after 3 hits
* Block that is rotating 90 degrees every 3 seconds
* Block that is becoming invisible (undestroyable, non-colliding) for 3 seconds every 5 seconds
* Block that starts falling down after X seconds (each falling block can have this time defined individually in unity) - if block falls down players loses a life, just like with losing the ball.
- Win/Lose condition
Player will have 3 lives at the start of each game, transferring between stages (total of 20 stages in the game). When player loses all current balls in the level - he loses a life ans starts again with new ball just like in arkanoid game (number of destroyed bricks - level progress stays the same as when he lost a life). Falling blocks are losing a life of player just like balls.
Player wins when every destroyable block in stage is destroyed. Player the goes directly to next level.
- Ability to unlock and choose player ship's graphics
There will be criteria for unlocking new ship types for player:
New ships (different ship prefabs which player can choose in a submenu "Choose Ship" before going to actual arcade mode) will be unlocked for a number of total destroyed bricks throught the game.
100 bricks destroyed - ship nr 2
400 bricks destroyed - ship nr 3
700 bricks destroyed - ship nr 4
1000 bricks destroyed - ship nr 5
2000 bricks destroyed - ship nr 6

I can do the project easily provided the graphics are included into it already. So please tell me if the graphics are included or they have to be added by me.
