We need a database program that generates coupons for our stores. Then when the customer brings the coupon in we open the client program and enter the coupon number and it logs that the coupon has been used. If the same number is entered again the system will simply show REJECT! DO NOT ACCEPT! on the screen Also if the coupon is expired it will simply show EXPIRED! DO NOT ACCEPT!
Also needs to have some basic reports in the management program (the one that generates the coupons).
Reports:
List of Active Coupons and values
List of Redeemed coupons, values, and employee id of the employee that entered entered the coupon code into the client software
List of Expired Coupons and values
List of All Coupons Redeemed on a specified date
List of All Coupons Generated on a specified date
