association member management

The solution should work under the following environment - Windows 2003 Web Server x86 English - IIS6, ASP.NET 2 3.5 or 4 - MS-SQL 2008 Express (or MySQL) - Smartermail Server v7 …and be completely localized to allow future translations of the user interface. This web-application should help people who organize associations. These managers – after logging on with their personal username and password - should be able to maintain a list of association members. These members can be organized in different configurable groups. Managers can post messages to members (Email, SMS or traditionial mail), make polls, and manage mailing lists (add/remove addresses on an existing list mail server). The look and feel of the web-app should be like a little Outlook desktop. No special graphic design, just intuitive, fast and efficient to use. (if possible with the help of rich controls, ajax, …) A more detailed project description is ready.
