Contact Kuwait Application on CD-ROM using .NET

This is a RE-MAKE of our own software Contact Kuwait CD-ROM (demonstrated in www contactkuwait com), but with more features to be added such as multi-regional support and multi-lingual Support (Aabic/English). The application is to be developed using .NET platform. We prefer C Sharp. It is supposed to install and run in a Windows Environment (Xp,2003, etc). The database can either access or SQL Express. The application is to be compiled and burned onto CD's for setup. Once setup, the application, database and necessary files are all installed onto the hard disk so the CD should be no longer required. The application needs to talk to a web server for Activation once setup, or, if internet is not available, must have ways to activate by phone, email, etc. This is required for controlling licenses and piracy. Periodically, under Help/Update, the application needs to talk to our webserver, to see if there are updates available, and if there are updates, then the updates are automatically downloaded onto the product. What does the application do? 1- The Application navigates and searches/queries through a set of records containing local company information and displays them onthe screen, output them onto the printer, or saves them in a comma-delimited format for mail-merge and label printing purposes. 2- The data is to be provided by us. Since they are kept and updated by us in MySQL Format, Perhaps the developer needs to write a small conversion process so that they are used to TEST the application, and PUBLISH it when time is due for releasing the CD into the market. 3- number of records are expected to be 6000. They are stored in a relational database in some 15 or so tables. Specs are availablke upon request. The application must be developed using Modern and State of the Art Interface. The developer must be DEDICATED for this project until it is released. DO's and DONT's of this project: =============================== If you are busy with other projects, DO NOT BID for this project. if you are the type of person who would take this project and outsource it to others, again, DO NOT BID for this project. if you cannot make yourself available for chat and email every 2 days at least during the development process, again, do not BID for this project. Basically, we are in a hurry. We have less than 60 days to develop, test, and release this product. Do not BID if you cannot dedicate yourself to this project in order to meet deadlines. Finally, we will only pay through ESCROW (20/50/30). Our terms are: 20% down payment. 50% after Beta Release, and 30% with release and submitting Source Code. We will only escrow one part at a time and wait to see progress of the phases explained. We expect a 90-day BUG-Fixing support as BUGS will become evident after public use of appplications. Winner of this project will also be awarded a YEARLY Maintenance contract so that we can apply changes, add fixes, etc.
