SharePoint Requirement:
1- SharePoint 2013:- Make an App that will consume the data from Web services of the quick launch and generate some html based on the functional requirement.
2- SharePoint 2010:- Make a webpart that will consume the data from web Services of the quick launch application and generate HTML based out of the business logic.
3- Configuring the SharePoint application to authenticate from ADFS, which interns call the CAS directory to validate user.
The Functional requirement is not discussed yet. There would be 2 code streams for the same requirement first for the app version of SharePoint 2013 and other would be webpart version of SharePoint 2010. Currently client only wants to focus on the web portion of SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 with an architecture that would be extendable to mobile version in future.
SharePoint Authentication part would basically be covered in the .net portion. SharePoint would basically in a claim based authentication model.
ADFS Requirement
1- Understanding the .net code for the existing ADFS-casifaction which is a Visual studio solution, client will provide.
2- Use the existing Visual studio solution and extend it to Casify the ADFS, linking this solution with ADFS.
3- Configuring the ADFS with relying party by using the MSI provided by client.
4- Enabling ADFS to internally call the CAS directory to authenticate and return the response token to ADFS.
5- Converting the returned response (token) from CAS into a format which can be understood by ADFS or mapping the CAS response into the ADFS response format.
