I have thousands of photo files that need to be re-named. I need an application that I can run on my Mac that will find and replace all instances of a set of numbers based on an excel spreadsheet file. The spreadsheet will have two columns with headers: "FIND" and "REPLACE". All of the photos will be loaded into the application at once, then the spreadsheet is loaded, then the application adjusts the file names. For example: Here is an example file name: 01-002-Photo A The excel spreadsheet would read: FIND: 01-002 REPLACE: 06-003 The resulting filename would be changed to: 06-003-Photo A I need the application to be capable of processing thousands of photos at the same time. Hey, I can write a script that will go through the images (in a directory may be) and then based on the spreadsheet find and replace columns, rename them as required. I have a Mac, will create the script, test it over and send it to you along with the instructions to set it up in detail and would be available to help you in case you face any challenges.
