Develop a Mac Application

We are looking for a developer to build an OS X Share extension to upload photos and videos to our Cloud based photo service. The extension requires a custom UI, not simply the built in Share Template that comes with Xcode. We have a RESTful API ([login to view URL]) which you will use to authenticate the user, retrieve data, and upload files.

Some of the key functionality of this extension:

- User Sign In and storing of auth token

- Retrieval of album and user data from the server

- Ability for the user to select an existing album, or create a new one.

- Display of hierarchical album structure within a drop down (which is done simply using indentation)

- Uploads should be done in a background process, as some uploads may take several hours

- In the event of a failed upload, the extension should automatically retry the upload. If the upload fails several times, the user will need to be notified.

- A progress bar should be displayed during upload

We would prefer the project written in Swift, and not Objective C. Code for the project is to be stored in our GitHub account.

Note this project will is the first in a series of Mac and iOS projects which will extend on a core codebase. Other projects include an iOS Share Extension, a Mac app that automatically backs up your photo collection, and an iOS app.
