ASP.NET web messenger

friend from college is asking for the below Platoforms: We are using ASP.net, our interface had been created already as well as the database (oracle 11g). What we need is the coding part. Project idea: It's a web based messenger ,but it will not be published on the internet just locally (this is because it will be used by the students & the academic staff inside our university). Each member has an id & password given to him/her by the university, users have to use those ids & passwords in order to login (this means the feature of using the emails to login that the general messenger provide is not available here). After the login process the user will find inside the web services: adding,deleting,searching for other users. We assume that user created his own list, now he will be able to start a conversation with his contact ,according to the communication tools the messenger must provide (text,audio,video). The important thing here is the user will be able to start one conversation at a time, but if more than one contact wants to talk to him at the same time ,then a waiting list must appear to him in order to give him a choice of choosing the contact he wants. One more thing about the services provided there is the offline messages,user can write a message for his offline contacts. Note: We have a same project as this but the services little bit different, its using activeX libraries, it provides users with (text, audio) communication tools only (no video). So please check if you will start coding from scratch or we can give you this project & implement the changes on it. Note:by the way I attached project, university guys did it and they gave it to us for help. so you can have a look on it. You can run it by using visual studio 2005 / or web developer 2005 ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
