Access Internet Replication

Hi Coders,

We are looking for a internet based replication solution for Microsoft Access 2003.

Basically we want to have a server with the design master and the client connects to the server.

What we do not want:

1. No uploading of the clients database to the server.

2. No unsecure connections

3. No third party tools

4. No replication manager

What it must be able to do:

1. Client types in servers IP address to sync to

2. Must detect if connection is lost

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

Hi to all the people bidding on this project.

To clarify, this is what we need:

A remote user needs to sync a partial and full replicas of the design master over the internet.

We need the remote user to specify the IP address of the server to perform the sync.

The remote user must be able to perform a sync when they want (sync on demand).

It would be good if we can create the first replica over the internet too.

Please, everyone who is bidding on this please confirm you can sync a partial replica and a full replica with the design master over the internet.

I will be choosing the winning coder this week.

Also, please inform me how long it will take for you to perform the task.

I do not want you to use replication manager and it must not require a lot to set up.

For example, the settings: IP address of server, location of design master on server and the locatio n of the replica on the remote user.

This project must be done in Access 2003 as this is what our application is writen in.
